GO-SET CHARTS SEARCH ENGINE

Search tips:
Looking for a specific item, the best search results may come by putting the name of a group, or the title of a single or album in quotes
.
eg. "Bridge Over Troubled Water"
or "Simon and Garfunkel"

Failure to include quote marks may give you a large volume of unrelated Top 40 chart data retrieved by the search engine containing the single words.

SPELLING:
If you can't find the name of a song or album, it may be a spelling issue.
Try typing in the name of the artist instead. Try alternative spellings.
(examples. "Boppin' the Blues" by Blackfeather instead of "Bopping the Blues"; "Cum on Feel the Noise" by Slade; or "Led Zeppelin III" instead of "Led Zeppelin 3")

A number of titles ending in "-ing" were listed as " -in' " " You Keep Me Hangin' On "; " Groovin' "; " Smokin' in the Boys Room "; " Cracklin' Rosie "; " Jumpin' Jack Flash "
Alternatively, do a google search on the name of the song, album or artist to find the official spelling and input that.
Generally, the name is given in the website as it appeared in print in Go-Set.

best to drop "the" or "a" when making a search
eg: "Beatles" instead of "The Beatles"
or "Whiter Shade of Pale" (instead of "A Whiter Shade of Pale")

PUNCTUATION:
Ambisans: If "Simon and Garfunkel" does not work, try "Simon & Garfunkel"
Commas: If "Crosby Stills Nash And Young" does not work, try "Crosby, Stills, Nash And Young"
Full stops: If "PJ Proby" does not work, try "P. J. Proby"; other examples: "T. Rex"; "B. J. Thomas"
Apostrophes: if "Hermans Hermits" does not work, try "Herman's Hermits"
Back-slash: if the single was a double A side, the title will appear with no space between back slashes "Hey Jude/Revolution"
Hyphens: Some songs include hyphens in the title: "Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da"; "Boom Bang-A-Bang"

Search results should give you all instances (every week)
in which whatever you were seeking (the artist, song or album title) appeared on the Go-Set charts in Australia.
